Dee      d'Z

We are Dee & d’Z, vocalist/songwriter and drummer/composer.

Together we create inspirational Nu-Jazz, often using acoustic instruments, in a funky way.

 

In 2020 Bernadette Dengler and Hans-Peter de Zeeuw started their musical journey when they came together for a writing session. After a couple of meetings they had a few songs completed. A year later, the two went to the recording studio to record their music.

 

Their first single will be released in fall of 2022.

 

Bernadette Dengler who was born in Austria and lives in The Netherlands, is a multitalented artist who earned her stripes in ballet, musical theatre, and short and long-term musical projects. In 2020, she reached out to Hans-Peter de Zeeuw a.k.a. d’Z asking if he was into songwriting together. The rest is history.

Hans-Peter de Zeeuw is a drummer, composer, and producer who released an EP under his artist name d’Z. He has worked with Katie Léone (former singer from Incognito and The Brand New Heavies), two times Grammy Nominee Sandra StVictor (known for her collaborations with Prince, Chaka Khan, Curtis Mayfield and many others), among other vocalists.
